MAKING ART WITH TEXTILES

Finished Size – Variable – Personal choice

In the ‘Making Art With Textiles’ Workshop you will produce a piece(s) of textile art that can be variable in size and used/displayed in a variety of ways. For example if your work is smaller in size you may use them as a gift card/s or a mini canvas. If you choose to complete a larger piece of work it would be very suitable for framing. You can also apply your work to soft furnishings such as  art quilts,  pillows, chair covers etc. It is a versatile technique that also has a variety of applications in fashion such as bags and border designs on skirts

Materials – The beauty of making art with textiles is you often use what is available to you and do not need to purchase extras. The beginning of your class will be off to a great start if you have an idea of what you might like to create. I will assist you with the rest!
